Curiosity Junction, founded by the curious characters, Amy Banks & Lisa Rustage in 2024. It is a collaboration of creative minds, leaning into curiosity, ambition and creativity storytelling.

Amy Banks

Founder | Producer & Writer

Amy produced a number of shorts including Unleaded (2015) (Vimeo Short of the Week) and Jaime (2016) (BFI Flare), Grasslands (2018), Man of the Land (2018), OLVE (2020) and Huggo (2023), and has screened at BAFTA and Oscar-qualifying festivals including Seattle International, Flickers’ Rhode Island, London Short Film Festival, Raindance, and Leeds International Film Festival.

She has contributed to Sundance London and BFI London Film Festival, and worked with clients including Getty Images, Ignite Music, RO Pictures, and East Creative. Amy is a BAFTA Connect member (2022–2026), was part of BFI Network x BAFTA Crew (2021–2022), and the inaugural Future Film Incubator programme.

Her credits include producing The Fire of Olympus (2020) (sold to MarqueeTV) and production co-ordinating on The Beast Within (2024).

Lisa Rustage

Lisa has over 10 years’ experience in post-production. Her credits include Ready Player One, Derry Girls, Feel Good, Judy, and Bohemian Rhapsody, as well as an editor on the BFI shorts Dynamite Dealer, Plaggy Bag, Before I Do, and Tasbeeh. She edited the features The Latent Image (2022), and Damaged Goods (in post production)

She expanded into producing with the horror short Dead Skin, acquired by ALTER and selected for multiple festivals, and continues to produce at Curiosity Junction.
