Aaran McKenzie is a founding member of the band While She Sleeps, born and raised in Sheffield. Over the years, he has extended his creative passion into filmmaking, with a decade of experience under his belt as a cinematographer and director. He has crafted award-winning short films that have also been showcased internationally in vibrant cities such as Vancouver IFF, Paris ISF and New York’s Haunted House Fearfest. As well as closer to home with festivals like Romford Horror Festival, Dark Hedges IFF, Grindhouse and Horrorcon UK, to name a few. His background in music deeply informs his storytelling, allowing him to blend emotional depth with a keen sense of rhythm and atmosphere.
